Meet Joyce Westerbeck
Joyce Joined the Silver Palms Team in October of 2023
Joyce came to us with 50-plus years of food service. Joyce cooks for us three days a week and is responsible for some of our tenant’s favorite meals.
Joyce has been married to her husband Micheal for 38 years, and together, they share a total of five children ( Jo, Sandy, Travis, Missy, and Jenny). Joyce is a proud grandma to Seven and two great-grandchildren.
Joyce enjoys doing embroidery and has made blankets for all seven grandchildren.
This has been an exciting year for weddings in Joyce’s family; she just attended a grandchild’s wedding in June and has another grandchild’s wedding scheduled for November. She is looking forward to another grandchild’s wedding scheduled next June.
When asked what her favorite thing to cook is, Joyce said she couldn’t pick just one but stated her favorite meals to cook are the large holiday meals.
