Meet Norma Rodgers
Norma, along with her husband Cleo, raised five children( David, Kathleen, Carol, Robin, and Tracy) while living and working on the farm. Norma says she was a farmer’s daughter and a farmer’s wife.
Norma is a proud grandma and great-grandma to many( including the staff at Silver Palms; she is truly the sweetest lady).
Norma did work out side of the home as a secretary, you may recognize her from her many years at the hospital and Iowa Wesleyan College.
Norma loves to draw and sketch and graciously shares her work with the staff and tenants.
Norma enjoys going out to family holidays( her favorite holiday is Easter) and meals and is excited for the upcoming family gathering they have every July in Oskaloosa, where her and her children all gather together for a family day.
Norma says her favorite thing about living at Silver Palms is that the staff take such good care of her.
